Islamorada, a great place to be! Spring is in full bloom with steady breezes and comfortable temps. The Tarpon run has started, evidence by the number of hard core fisherman in town. Off shore the Dolphin (Mahai Mahai) are starting their annual run through the area, with fish up to 50 lbs being caught. Blackfin tuna are also here in droves, as well as sailfish , cobia , and yellowtail.  Bottom fishing remains good with Grouper being the fish of choice. In the shallows we are finding Bonefish , Redfish and Trout in good numbers.  

As for the Real Estate World things have begun to make the turn toward a more stable market. With Inventory being reduced by some 30 months county wide in just the last 6 months. Average price reductions have also slowed. The average monthly sales over the last 6 months is just shy of doubling in that time frame. Average days on the market has also come down by 30 days and it looks as if that trend will continue. The average sale price is also showing a slight upward trend as well.
